Life looks so much better when you add perspective.
There is a popular phrase that says, “The best view comes after the hardest climb.” I am sure so many of us can relate to the sentiment. It is always after the toughest challenge that the greatest reward comes - for me during this time, that has been PEACE.
For almost 5 months, I was on a social media break. Other than watching YouTube videos and Snapchat clips for educational purposes, I have been off the grid. After ending a nearly two-year relationship, it was necessary for me to reground myself and be introspective.
Although the moments were difficult, I was able to learn more about myself, make bold moves and changes for self-improvement. Life is always in transition - it’s either headed to a challenge, in a challenge, or emerging from a challenge. Perspective helps us through these stages. It is not only about changing our view, but also changing our position. ■
